Hello everyone!
Today is my birthday and release day at Waffle Flowercrafts! Excitement x2! :) I'm so happy to share with you a lot of cardmaking inspiration! And more to come on the Waffle Flower Instagram page!
I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! Be sure to check out each stop in today’s blog hop for fun, inspiration, and chances to win some of these new release goodies!
Next on the hop is JJ Bolton!
For my first card I used a new layered flower die - Layered Abstract Flowers Die. I cut out a flower from a thick vellum and I applied a little bit of pink ink in the centre using a small shaker brush - Shader Brush Sampler Pack.
To create a card background I used Swag Background Foil Plate as an embossing plate. I run the foil plate with a thin embossing silicone mat and a kraft paper through my die cutting machine. I think almost all die cutting machines can emboss, just look through the guid of your machine.
Also I heat emboss the sentiment - Love Thanks Sentiments Combo with a white embossing powder.
I stamped small sentiments on cute die cut banners. I cut them out using a new Stacking Banners Die.
The second foil plate is called - Swag Background Foil Plate and it works with Swag Coloring Stencil. For both of my cards I used super shiny foil from Spellbinders - Speckled Aura. It's one of the foils from my all time favorite foil set - Glimmer Foil Favorites Pack, that you can find at Waffle Flower website as well.
Using the same hot foil I created a big Christmas sentiemnt with Oversized Merry Christmas Foil Plate.
And this month we have some New Year dies. The first one is Brush Lettered New Year Die. I created two similar cards with it, but on the first card I used a double sided adhesive sheet to attach the die cut, and on the card - double sided foam tape.
This card I attached directly on a white card background and inlaid some small pieces back.
And here is a card full of dimension and shine from a gold glitter cardstock. This die will work perfectly with our biggest Flat circle Shaker Covers.
For the sentiemnt I used another hot foil palte - Happy Birthday Duo Foil Plate. I colored all the letters with my Copic Markers.
