Waffle Flower April release Blog Hop

Hello everyone!

Welcome to Waffle Flower’s April 2021 Release day! I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! This month, the Waffle Flower release is full of stamps, dies, and stencils that celebrate the hope and joy of Spring!

Be sure to check out each stop in today’s blog hop for fun, inspiration, and chances to win some of these new release goodies! Next on the hop is Jeanne Jachna!

And today I want to show you my 4 cards using awesome new products from Waffle Flower.

For my first card I used an adorable stamp set with doggies called - Birthday Puppies Stamp Set. I stamped two dogs with black Memento ink, colored them with Copic markers and cut out with coordinating dies. I decided to create a two card backgrounds to make this card more fun.

At first, I applied light brow ink through the Brick stencil on a white panel, on the bottom of this panel I applied light grey ink and then I cut out an oval piece from this panel using Oval nesting die set. Next, on the white card base I applied pink and blue ink through the Confetti Stencil

I want to make my next card in monochromatic colors, so I pick my favorite blue shade of a regular smooth cardstock. I heat emboss a floral bouquet and a basket with a white embossing powder. Those flowers from Jumbo Flower Pot Stamp Set are so beautiful and they look awesome even without coloring! To create a card background I cut out a white panel using Triple Line Diamond Panel Die.

For this card I made a colorful card background, I blend different distress inks on a white card panel and covered it with a white die cut I made using Stitched Diamond Panel Die. I finish my card by adding an  oversized die cut sentiment - Smile.

For my last card I also used a panel die - Stitched Flower Panel Die. I run it through my die cutting machine with a piece of mint colo cardstock and I leave all the negative die cuts in their places. With a stitched rectangle die I cut out a small panel to place my sentiment. I stamped a phrase "love your" using Pennant Alpha Stamp Set and add shadows using Pennant Alpha Duo-tone Stencil and darker inks. I cut out letters with coordinating die and foam mount them on the panel. Below the stamped letters I placed a gold die cut "Smile".

Fun interactive birthday card

 Hello everyone!

Today I want to share with you a super fun birthday card with an interactive element on it. I made using From Russia with Love Stamp Set and dies. The main idea of the card was to make a hidden images inside of all 3 dolls.

How I made this card you can watch here or on my Youtube chanel.

In the video I made a red one card, with a hidden image of the birthday present. But I love the process so much, so I was giggling and made a one more card, a masculine version of birthday card with vodka and a pickle :)

To create all paneld for my card I used some basic shape dies - Blanket Stitch Layers Die and Additional A2 Layers Dies.

I draw all the hidden images by hand and color them with copic markers.

On the red card I add a few clear sequins.

And don't miss my todays live class in Waffle Flower FB group HERE.

Birtday (beerthday :)) card for a man

 Hello everyone!

Today I want to share with you an idea of quick & easy masculine card. I know, sometimes, the most difficult card to make are for our men: dads, brothers, husbands or boyfriends :)

How I made this card you can watch here or on my Youtube channel

I used a regular black cardstock as a panel for my card and I decorated it with a lot of beer bottles. I cut them out from a colored cardstock and green pattern paper from Half-Half Lines - Enchanted Paper Pad and Half-Half Lines - Unicorn Paper Pad.

I used a great set of dies and stamps called Home Brew Combo - Waffle Flower Crafts. I attached all the bottles directly on the black cardstock. For a tiny embellishments on bottles and for bottle caps I used gold mirror cardstock.

I heat embossed a birthday sentiment on a dark blue cardstock and attached it to the card too. I embellished my card with a few beer bubbles :) Clear enamel dots are super versitate stickers :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Color swatch orginize book

 Hello everyone!

More then crafting I like to organize my supplies, especially make some swatches :) I got them for every medium in my stash and they are supper helpful for making backgrounds, cards and coloring.  Some of my swatched I showed HERE and today I want to show my swatch book.

I started it not long time ago, when I grab a new type of ink called Kaleidacolor from Tsukineko. Every ink pad consist of a 5 smaller pads with different ink colors and they definitely should be organized :)

Here is how book is look like. As a base I have a 6x8 Scrapbook.com two ring album with black and white stripes. It's actually the album for memory keeping, but why not to use it in other way?

In a little tab holder I drew colorul letters.

Also I used a clear pockets - 6x8 Page protectors to hold all my nots, cards and swatches. To embelish my pages I used paper cards for memery keeping  Simple Scrapbooks - Cards - Everyday Moments. I picked some natural cards without any scrapbook sentiments and decorated them.

On a first page I put a large card and cut out a gold letters using Waffle Flower Crafts - Tower Outline Alphas dies.

For the each ink pad I have two pages: on the left page I have some pretty cards and a stamped image with a particular ink pad. On the right I have swatches and color combinations. For a small swatch card (left top corner) I cut out a white piece of paper and stamped a square frame with lines using Waffle Flower Crafts - Combo Swatch Stamp.

Then using a small rectangle stamp from Waffle Flower Crafts - Color Combos for Ink pads Set. I stamped all the colors inside of the square frame. Below I wrote the ink names.

For the large color combination card I used Waffle Flower Crafts  - Color Combos die and stamp Combo. I stamped square frames and filled them with color. I stamped triangles, smaller squares and rectangles using again Waffle Flower Crafts - Color Combos for Ink pads Set.

And I love how cards are match with ink swathes:)

Cardmaking basics: build a scene. Video

 Hello everyone!

Let's make a cute Birthday card with a super adorable hamsters! :) I love to play with a small critter stamps and create a different scenes on a cards. For today's card I used background stencils - Keeway's Sky Scene Stencil, Keeway's Grass Scene Stencil, small house die - House Outline Die, and a few hamster stamps from different sets - Frontline Bundle. All this stamp sets are themed, but you can easily turn out them into birthday stamps or use for any occasion card.

How I made this card you can watch here or on my Youtube chanel.

I start with creating a card background. I applied inks throught the stencils directly on the white A2 card base. On the top I applied Brocken China Diestress ink and used a cloud stencil. On the bottom I applied Peeled Paint Distress ink and used a grass stencil.

I cut out a little house from a wood grain cardstock and I decided to add shadows arond the windows and under the roof with Vintage photo Distress ink. I foam mount the house on the card base.

I planned to create a card with a birthday mail. Thanks to mail service I still can receive my presents during the pandemic times. And it's so exciting to receive a lot of birthday cards and some packages in a mail box! I think, it's me behind the door on this card :)

I stamped different hamsters on a white smooth paper with Memento ink and colored them all with an alcohol Copic markers. Also, I stamped few boxes and envelopes to create a scene with birthday mail. I cut them out with a coordinating dies and foam mount on the card.

On the left bottom corner I combined two stamps to create a birthday sentiment. I stamped it with Versafine Black ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Underwater scene card

Hello everyone!
It's Galina and I want to share with you a fun card with a lot of tiny fishes.

I cut out a white panel using a middle size die from A2 Stitched Layered Card set. To create underwater scene I used light and dark blue hybrid inks. I applied light blue color in a centre and then I applied dark blue color on the corners. I add a lot of white and blue drops to create a water splashes
.
I cut out a little heart window from the panel using one of the dies from Slim Line Corner Scallop Die Set set. I stamped a little fishes from Whale Wishes set around the heart widow. I stamped them with black hybrid ink and colored with alcohol markers. On a small heart die cut I stamped a sentiment with a same ink.

To embellish my card I used some clear acrylic drops. I think they looks like real bubbles.
I foam mount the panel on a white card base and adhered the white scallop heart die cut to pop up the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by!
