Waffle Flower November Release

 Hello everyone!

Welcome to Waffle Flower’s October 2021 Release Day! I’m happy to be hopping with such tallented cardmakers to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! This month, we’re brining you some fun floral dies and special wrappers!

Be sure to check out each stop in today’s blog hop for fun, inspiration, and chances to win some of these new release goodies! Next on the hop is Amy Rysavy!

In this release you can find a few dies and stencil from me: Flat Paper Bag, Wine Bottles Die and Tiny Dot Stencil, it works Tiny Heart Stencil, you can combine them both to create a fun pattern with dots and hearts.
On my first card I used a Paper bag die 4 times. I cut out little bags from colored cardstock and from dark blue Pattern Paper. I cut out handles and tiny tags from gold mirror cardstock and white glitter paper.

I decorated the left dark pink bag with gold glitter paste. I applied the paste through the Tiny Dot Stencil.

I put some floral die cuts (made with Stems Die), tissue paper ( piece of paper towel lol) and a bottle of Champaign (made with Wine Bottles Die) inside of the paper bags. I cut out two panels using A2 Layered Die: one from Vellum and a bigger one from patterned paper - Christmas Stripes Paper Pad.

I love the new floral bouquet stamp set we have in this release, it's not super big, so it can be colored quickly and easily and it fits in a paper bag! :) I colored the flowers with matching colors for the paper bag and cut it out with a coordinating die.
I cut out the paper bag from red dotted pattern paper from - Christmas Stripes Paper Pad. And also I cut out a white background with a visible white border around the paper bag, to match the white border on the bouquet. I cut out a frame from a kraft cardstock using a second die from Nesting Rectangle Frames Die and adhered it on a vellum.

My next card is more about celebration :) I cut out a paper bag from a dark blue cardstock and added shading on the right side with dark blue alcohol marker. I applied gold glitter paste through Tiny Heart Stencil on the paper bag.
I put some tissue paper ( this time a real one lol) on the back of the paper bag and  I put  two bottles inside of my bag. I cut them out from a regular colored cardstock and gold mirror cardstock (corck and labels). I drew white details on them with a white gel pen.
To create a card background I applied light blue ink through Duo-tone Squares Stencil on white panel and cut out a round window using Circle Nesting Dies.

We have new bold oversized sentiments from JJ and I want to make a focal point on it. I cut out a sentiment from a blue cardstock and I drew horizontal lines on it with my blue alcohol markers. I cut out a vellum background for the sentiment and my favorite doily from ivory color cardstock.

On my next card I used new vases, dies and a few leaves from Small Bouquet Stamp Set. I applied blue ink on the bottom of the card panel and gold glitter paste through the Tiny Dots Stencil. I finished the card background with a piece of die cut I made using Triple Line Diamond Panel Die. I stamped a small sentiment using Special Delivery Sentiments.

I created a fun sunset background using Sunrise Mountain Stencil Quad and distress inks. I cut out a piece of black cardstock as a front panel and I adhered on the back of it a few black floral die cuts I made using Stems Die. In the centre I placed sentiments from the Label Maker Stamp set, I stamped them with Versafine Black ink.

Christmas card and Thank you card using the same die set

 Hello everyone!

Today I want to show two different cards made with the same "Build a snowflake" die set. Actually it is called Blooming 'ansome Snowflake Edition and as you may know with this "Blooming" die collection you can create ( or build ) a lot of different designs from a classic wreath to a separate cluster.

For my first card I cut out a few elements using Blooming 'ansome Snowflake Edition Die set from a light and dark blue cardstock. I didn't use any glue to assemble the snowflakes, I simply secured the die cuts with a large white brads. You can find them in Claina Palmer Store as well - Large White Brads (2 Pots) They are perfect to use with any Blooming Die cuts. I love their white matt finish so I did not cover up them with additional die cuts.

To create a sentiment I used Mix 'em Dies - Christmas Die Set. I cut out the word "Snow" from a light blue cardstock and applied dark blue ink on the bottom of the die cut. I stamped the other part of sentiment using white pigment ink and a small stamp "Let it" from Mix 'em Stamps - Christmas Stamp Set.

To embellish the card I used amazing gold foiled pearls - Top Gems - Christmas Gold.

As I was saying, I used Blooming 'ansome Snowflake Edition Sie Set for both of my cards. I picked another small die from this set and I run through my die cutting machine with a colored cardstock (use your scraps). I secured the die cuts with the white brad again and I got a beautiful rainbow flower.

I decided to create a geometric card background and I cut out a few hexagons from a vellum using 8" x 8" Double-Stitched Nested Octagon Dies. Most often I made A2 US cards, so I used the smallest hexagon die from this set. I adhered them on a white card panel.

I stamped a small sentiment using multicolored dye ink and a stamp from Mix 'em Stamps - Family. To embellish the card I used silver pearls called Top Gems - Christmas Silver.

Stamped one layer Christmas cards

 Hello everyone!

I want to share with you a couple of one layered festive cards. I was playing with two different color combos, but I used the same stamp set called HOLIDAY SPRIGS - ESSENTIALS BY ELLEN to create the card backgrounds.

I stamped the card backgrounds only with one poinsettia stamp from  HOLIDAY SPRIGS - ESSENTIALS BY ELLEN. I stamped on a white A2 smooth cardstock with 5 different shades of one  color. I started from the centre with my "middle" color. Stamping in this way will make the layering easier.

I stamped on a silicon mat - MINI STENCIL MAT, WAFFLE FLOWER TOOLS to get nice and crisp images.

To create the ombre effect you will need to use at least 3 shades of one ink color. If you don't have a lot of ink colors in your stash, try to restamp images with the same color to create a darker shade.

Also, I overlapped and rotated some of the images to add more interest to the card background.

I stamped the bold sentiment from Holly Jolly Christmas Stamp Set over a stamped background using Versafine Black Ink and I decorated the card with clear crystals and a little red paper  bow.
I made the card background a little bit smaller than my red A2 card base, I ran it through my die cutting machine with the biggest die from ADDITIONAL A2 LAYERS, WAFFLE FLOWER DIES.

I made the red poinsettias card background in the same way. I used red color ink from Altenew: Frosty Pink, Coral Berry, Ruby Red and the darkerst color is Aged Mahogany I used my mini ink cube.

This time I stamped the bold big sentiment from Holly Jolly Christmas Stamp Set on a piece of vellum using Stazon black ink, it dries permanently and will stay on vellum forever. I cut out a gold square frame from a gold cardstock using two dies from NESTING SQUARES, WAFFLE FLOWER DIES. I adhered the frame with the vellum on the card background using a small amount of liquid glue from Tombow.

Below the frame I stamped the additional sentiment from Holly Jolly Christmas Stamp Set. I stamped it with black Versafine ink.

I finished the card by adding clear crystals.

  Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas bottle tags DIY- Waffle Flower challenge - Project for a neighbor

 Hello everyone!

For today I have a Chritstmas decoration :) Actually a Christmas tag for a bottle. We have a fun challenge at Waffle Flwoer Crafts - The most Wonderful Time and this week we are sharing projects for neighbors.

I decided to decorat a gift bottle of wine. To create a Chirstmas bottle tag I used a regular slimline dies - Slim lacy layer dies. I cut out two pieces from white and pink cardstock. I scored and adhered them both.

I cut out a round opening using Slim shaker circle die and got a perfect size of opening for the bottle. I decorated the bottle tag with a Mistletoe die cut and created a little winter scene inside of it. I stamped a perfect sentiment using Holiday Labelmaker Stamp Set.

On the top of my bottle I placed a small tule pieces and over it I added a paper bow with a few mistletoe branches.

You can join our challenge HERE  and share with us your winter creations as well as win a gift certificate to Waffle Flower Shop.

One die two cards - LDRS Creative

Hello everyone!

I want to share with you two cards I made using a cute die set called Stitched Decorative Label Dies. I want to show how versitate this set is, you can use it  to create frames, use negative die cuts and much more.

I cut out 3 labels using Stitched Decorative Label Dies from a colored cardstock. For sure you can use those labels for the stamped sentiments, but I used them to create a card background.

Also, I used a few adorable images from Campfire Friends - Pocket Pals 4x6 Stamps for my first card. I stamped them on a white smooth paper using Raven Black Ink. I colored the critters with alcohol based markers.

I foam mount all the elements on a white A2 card base. I heat embossed the sentiment from Friends 4x4 Sentiment Stack Stamp on a kraft cardstock I cut out a stripe with the coordinating die - Sentiment Stack Die II.

For my second card I decided to use only the large labele die from the Stitched Decorative Label Dies to create a focal point on the card. I cut out a label from a white smooth cardstock and stamped a beautiful house from Log Cabin - Pocket Pals 4x6 Stamps. I used Raven black ink to stamp the image and alcohol based markers to color it.

Next I cut the kraft panel using A2 Diagonal Stitched Layered Card Toppers Die Set and in the center of the panel I cut out the label. And on my card I used only the negative die cut from kraft cardstock.
I adhered a stamped label and outer kraft frame on the white A2 card base.

I add no embellishments to keep it as one layered card.

How I made this card you can watch here or on my Youtube channel.

I cut out a heart opening using Heart Shaker Die and I traced the opening with a black pen.

Cristmas card with a red bows

 Hello everyone!

Here is another fancy Christmas card for this seaso. I decorate the card with a lot of red bows from Peace & Joy 6x8 Pirouette Stamps, with stamp you can create beautiful wreaths, but also you can use any of those images separately.

I decided to decorate the card background with a red bows, so, I stamped them using one stamp from Peace & Joy 6x8 Pirouette Stamp. I cut out a card background using Modern Geometric A2 Coverplate III from a white glitter cardstock. I attached the die cut on a light blue card base.

I heat embossed the sentiment using the same stamp set and I cut it out with a coordinating die. Love to have coordinating dies for sentiments too, The card looks more accurate.
I embellished the card with 3 crystals and I foam mount the sentiment on the top of my card.

Out of this world shaker cards! Video

 Hello everyone!
Today I have two super fun shaker cards to share. I made them with a minimum of supplies, but I had so much fun to make them! For both of my shaker cards I used Solar System Die, Distress Oxide inks and Shaker Covers - Puffy Circles.

How I made those cards you can watch here on on my Youtube channel.

At first I need to say I made those cosmic card backgrounds using the same technique, but I got an absolutely different result. That's all because I didn't stop at the right moment making the dark blue background and I got a bold, almost ink blended look card background. Anyway, I like it too! :)

I cut out a sun and planets using Solar System Die from Waffle Flower Crafts from a colored cardstock and I colored them with alcohol based Copic markers. If you don't have any  markers you can ink blend the die cuts to add more interest to the card.

Also, I added white splashes using Large Splatter Plastic Brush from Tim Holtz to create stars. I attached the sun die cut to the card base and added star sequins, yellow crystals and matt sequins from Studio Katia.

For my second card I used a leftover blue circle piece from the previous card to create a planet shaker card. Again I usedSolar System Die to cut out all the elements as well as Shaker Circle Die to cut out the shaker opening.

I stamped the sentiments from Solar System Sentiments on both of my cards using Versafine black ink.

I decorated the card panel with glitter diecuts I made using Star Wish Panel Die. Also I used tiniest stars from Shaker Star Die.
