Waffle Flower March release Blog Hop

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the Waffle Flower March Release Blog Hop! I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! Be sure to check out each stop in today’s blog hop for fun, inspiration, and chances to win some of these new release goodies!

Are you struggling to create masculine cards? Don't worry, you're not alone! Many card makers find it difficult to create cards for the men in their lives. But, this month you'll find a plethora of great ideas at Waffle Flower Crafts for creating Father's Day cards, cards for brothers, and simple, encouraging masculine cards.

For my first card, I used only the hat dies from the Baseball Dad Die set. By using different colored cardstock, I was able to create a vibrant and eye-catching card that any baseball fan would love.
But if you're looking for a more traditional look, you can easily create a classic navy blue baseball hat by cutting out all the pieces from one color of cardstock. With the versatility of the Baseball Dad Die set, the possibilities for creating your perfect baseball-themed card are endless.

Whether you're creating a card for a baseball-loving dad, a sports-loving friend, or just someone who appreciates a well-crafted card, the Baseball Dad Die is a great set to play with.

The stitches dies for the ball can be used with other sizes of circle dies. I created a lot of different size balls to create the next cards. Also, on the second card I used a pattern paper with stripes from Half-Half Lines - Enchanted Paper Pad. It reminds me of a baseball uniform :)

I heat embossed the sentiments from #1 Dad Sentiments Stamp Set on the black cardstock using White Fine Detailed powder from Ranger.

How I made this card with a shaped flap you can watch HERE

And the smallest ball I used with a Gold Cup Trophy. I made it using Trophy Cup Die-n-stencil and one yellow color of Distress ink called Fossilized amber.

In addition to Father's Day cards, I want to share with you a lot of PAW-some cards :)

For this card I used Best Friend Die to cut out cute dogs from a black glitter cardstock. I attached them around a gift box (Little Gift Box Die) to create a birthday card for a dog lover.

To create the card panel I used a new Paw Print Texture Die. It has no cut line on edge so you can easily use it only on a part of the card panel as I did.

No - edgePaw Print Texture Die is great to decorate envelopes too!

Here are my other cards with textured paw prints :)

On this card I used dog stamps - Best Friend Stamp Set insted of the dies.

This die comes with coordinating coloring stencil. I applied white pigment ink through the first layer of Paw Print Stencil Duo. And I decorated the card with some enamel dots.

If you like stamping as much as I do you can create a fun window scene using Best Friend Stamp Set and Window Trio 1 Die. I used only square shaped die to cut out the windows twice on the white card panel. Next I cut out inner squares from the yellow cardstock and stamped dogs on them.

And with the second die from  Window Trio 1 Die I made a slimline card. This die set also has no line on edges, so you can use it on the bigger panels as many as you need.

I love to create card backgrounds with focal point products like Paw Print Die. I simply cut out paws from a colored cardstock and foam mount them on the woodgrain card panel.

And my last paw-some card features a large Bone and Bow Die. I cut out the bow from the cardstock, but I wrapped the bones with a real red ribbon to add more interest to the card.

Last but not least a floral card with a beautiful Daffodil. I used a Sketched Daffodil Foil Plate and gold foil to create the flower. I colored it using coordinating stencil and distress inks. Next I cut out the glower with tht coordinating die and colored white edges with black Copic marker. I foam mount the flower using Foam Strips - Black 1/16" thick.

The black cards look more accurate with the black foam tape. Here are the tapes in action CLICK HERE.

3 Easy Easter Card Ideas

Hey friends!
I'm so excited to share with you 3 cute Easter cards, as well as short tutorial. I've been working on these three stunning cards that all use the same diecutting technique with Flourishing Panel Die and Nesting egg die from Waffle Flower Crafts - but each card has its own unique style that really makes it stand out.

Here is a short tutorial on how Imade these cards.

One of the cards is even a shaker card, which was so much fun to make!

I love how versatile this technique is and how it can be adapted to create such different looks.

And on my last card I cut out 3 smaller eggs and put some patterned paper behind the flourish die cut. I foiled a large sentiment using gold foil and Happy Easter Duo Foil Plate and cut it in a half.

Thanks for stopping by!

As always, I have tons of cards to share with you! I'm so excited about this release. We have so many great products and I want to play with them all :)

For my first card I die cut a cute Bunny Ears from a grey cardstock and I decorated them with the smallest Crocus flower from Layered Crocus Die.

(Bunny Ears Die, Layered Crocus Die, Little Birdie Sentiments)

The Layered Crocus Die has two size flowers that can be used separately or you can build a floral clusters to create a full floral panel as I did on the left card. To color the flowers I used alchol inks.

(Layered Crocus Die, Happy Easter Duo Stamp Set, Organic Frame Die)

For the second card I used samr Alcohol Ink colors for the card background and I cut out the biggest Crorus flower from a white carsdtock. I placed the flower inside of the Organic Frame.

Spring is coming and we have more floral patterns! :) For my next card I used Daisy Pattern Stencil Quad and distress ink. On the top of my card I placed a scallop die cut from Designer Template 1 Die and also I cut out white border leaves from On the Edge Trio Die and I colored them with matching colors of Copic markers.

(Daisy Pattern Stencil Quad, On the Edge Trio Die, Designer Template 1 Die, Sending Love Sentiments)

Same stencil I used for this card too, but I changed some colors of distress inks. Inside of the floral pattern I cut out an egg-shaped window using Nesting Eggs Die and I placed a fancy inside :)

To create the fancy egg I used some leftover foiled paper (foiled with Swag Background Foil Plate and colored with Swag Coloring Stencil and distress inks) and Fancy Egg Die, it works with Nesting Eggs Die, so you can cut out a scallop egg frame only. For my egg I cut out a pink color scallop frame and attached it over the foiled paper.

(Daisy Pattern Stencil Quad, Nesting Eggs Die, Fancy Egg Die, Swag Background Foil Plate, Swag Coloring Stencil

It was super fun to mix and match colors on the Fancy Eggs. I cut out inner parts with Nesting Eggs Die and attached them on the different color egg.

Just look how beautiful this die cut looks with a gold mirror cardstock!

I simply adore how bunny ears look on the eggs and egg shaped frames! For my next card I cut out two eggs with Nesting Eggs Die. The left one I colored with a pink Copic marker and white gel pen. The right egg I colored with distress inks and Daisy Pattern Stencil Quad.

In same way I decided to create a shaker with ears. I used new Oval Flat Shaker cover with  Bunny Ears Die. Using a small oval nesting die I cut out a striped pattern from JJ's Rainbows Paper Pad to put inside of the shaker.

Another fun die and stencil is Spring Egg. You can easily color the partially die cut pieces with a coloring stencil.

I fold up a few pieces to add more dimension to the pattern.

(Spring Egg Die, Spring Egg Coloring Stencil Duo, Nesting Eggs DieHappy Easter Duo Stamp Set)

And this egg I cut out from a light grey cardstock and colored with Distress oxide inks.

Next I used stencil only to create a bright spring pattern.

Another fun stencil in this release is Mini Eggs Stencil, which I used with Jumbo Checker stencil.

And on my last card is used Mini Eggs Stencil only. I added shadows around the egg with a grey copic marker.

Waffle Flower Blog Hop

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the Waffle Flower January Release Blog Hop! I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! Be sure to check out each stop in today’s blog hop for fun, inspiration, and chances to win some of these new release goodies!

Next on the hop is Rebecca Keppel!

For my first card I used Little Birdie Die and Little Branches Die to create a pattern for my card. I embellished it with Clear Enamel Dots.

I like this die set because there are some cute additions to the bird and you can create any occasion cards by switching what the bird holds :) And simply change the sentiment from Little Birdie Sentiments.

And those little envelopes are perfect for creating fun backgrounds!

This month we have another beautiful die set from JJ called Candlelight Die. I decorated my candle with a piece of another die cut I made using Flourish Panel Die.  And for card background I used grey inks and Zigzag Stencil Trio.

Also you can decorate the candles with inks only. On thi card I used shader brush #1 to create candle light and to add shadows. I stamped Faith Sentiments Stamp Set and foam mounted it over the candles.

(Other: Nesting oval dies, Flourish Panel Die.)

And here is the card with a full diecut I made using Flourish Panel Die. I framed a box die cut (Little Gift Box Die) using leaves from Little Branches Die and a thin circle glitter die cut.

(Other: Spotlight Frames Die)

On my next card I made a dimensional background, I foam mounted the Flourish Panel Die on a white cardstock.

This month we have new beautiful flowers in stamp and foil versions! I used gold and pink foil with thw Sketched Iris Foil Plate to create a floral card. I colored the flowers with Sketched Iris Coloring Stencil.

And on my last card I used a Sketched Iris Stamp Set with coloring stencil. And for the card background I used   Flourish Panel Die  again.
