Waffle Flower December release blog hop + Video

Hello everyone and welcome to our blog hop!

Waffle Flower's last release in 2019 focuses on the upcoming Valentine's Day. Stamps and dies that help us send sweet, loving thoughts never go out of style. And of course you can find a floral stamp set in this release. Bouquet Builder 6 Stamp Set it's an elegant set of few big and small flowers. For my first card I used this beautiful set. I decided to create a monochromatic greeting card.

How I create this card you can watch here

I used only two colors of Distress ink - Broken China and Faded Jeans. I apply ink on a media mat mixed it with water and colored stamped flower. I stamped all flowers with a blue ink.

For my second card I used Harpy Birthday Stamp Set. I just love this cute little dog. I stamped the image using black Memento ink and cut it out with coordinating die. I colored stamped image using alcohol Copic markers. I tried to create a wood effect on a harp, so I used light brown colors.
After my coloring was done I glued the gold threads to recreate the strings.

On a white card base I applied pink and blue inks to create a card background. I foam mount a dog to the card base. At last.  I stamped a sentiment and notes with a black ink.

Susan's Garden Die Collection Inspirational Mini Hop

Hello everyone! Welcome to our blog hop. Today we are sharing a lot of inspiration using Susan's Garden cutting dies. Her dies are amazing flowers and leaves, also in her collection you can find cute baskets to create a pretty floral garden scenes.

For the first card I used Susan's Garden Club - Echinacea Die Set. I cut out a bunch of the flowers from an ivory cardstock. I applied  pink ink on the all petals. To apply ink I used blending toщl and round sponge.

I foam mount all the flowers on the right bottom of a card panel and cut the excesses. For the card panel I used regular kraft cardstock.
Next I cut out an inner parts of the flowers and letters for my sentiment from the gold mirror cardstock. I glue them using liquid glue from Tonic. To finish my card I add a few white Nuvo drops.

For my second card I used - Tonic Studios - Susan's Garden Club - Buddleia Die Set. I tried to keep a focus on a flower, so I made another clean and simple card. I decided to create a colorful background behind the flower. I masked a card panel and applied yellow and green hybrid inks, using blending tool.

I cut out the flower from two shades of the violet cardstock and I cut out leaves from the green cardstock. I add more details on the leaves using green Nuvo marker. Also I add tiny yellow dots on each flower with a Nuvo drops.

I stamp a sentiment using black hybrid ink and my card is done.

Win a flower making tool bundle ( embossing tools, adhesives, accents, paper, scissors)
For your chance to win leave a comment along the hop.
One  winner will be chosen from comments section on the blog hop participants.

Rainbow birthday card

Hello everyone!

What makes me happy? Having a coordinating stencils to my dies! :) Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made using Broderie Anglaise Background Stencil and a small round doily die from Broderie Anglaise Nested Doily Die Set. Also I used alphabet dies from Link ‘em Bold Lower Case Alphabet Die Set.

All those products are from the new UK company Claina Palmer Designs. The owner is very talented designer and crafter and I love her classic and elegant products.

 How to create this card

  • Place a stencil on a white card panel
  • Apply distress (or other) ink through the stencil. Use a blending tool or a blending brush
  • Using medium circle die cut out a doily from the white cardstock
  • Stamp a sentiment on the die cut and foam mount it in the centre
  • Cut out a word Happy using alphabet dies and adhere the sentiment on the doily
  • Embellish the card with sequins or crystals

Have a great day!
