Hello!
Welcome to the Waffle Flower March Release Blog Hop! I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! Be sure to check out each stop in today’s blog hop for fun, inspiration, and chances to win some of these new release goodies!Next on the hop is Jeanne Jachna!
For my first card I used Snail Die to create a fun shaker card. I used a Shaker Cover - Puffy Circle to make a shaker window. I put some clear crystals inside and it looks like my snail got diamonds in a shell :) I decorate it with small envelopes, I cut them out using Small Envelopes Die and I colored the flaps with alcohol markers.
To create a card background I used a new stencil - Grass Borders Stencil.
On my next I used another die set with snails - Snail Trio Die. To create a card background I used - Layered Mushroom Stencil. It's a 2 layered stencil with different size mushrooms, big bushes border and grass border.
I applied ink with new shader brushes - Shader Brush Sampler Pack. They are great to create a shading, colorful accents or to color small parts on stencils without masking other parts.
I have one more similar card, but here I used a grey cardstock for a card panel with the same inks and stencils.
Small Envelopes Die can be used without snails for sure :) I decided to create a couple of card backgrounds using this die only.
I foam mount envelopes all over the card panel and I colored some of them with a gold marker to add a shiny accent on the card.
On the next card I used only the biggest envelopes and some clear crystals.
And here are some more samples of carrying envelopes :) We have another snail die set called
Snail Trio Die, it works with all three sizes of - Shaker Cover - Slim Circles. Again I used Grass Borders Stencil to create a card background and Snailed It Sentiments Stamps.
With the biggest snail die from Snail Trio Die I created a fun shaker card, where a cute snail is sitting on a big mushroom. I used the biggest mushroom from Layered Mushrooms Stencil Duo and Cloud stencil to create a card background.
To create a white dots on a mushroom I used white pigment ink, for other colors I used Distress inks only.
In this release we have a new stamp set from Kamo - Hand Delivered Stamp Set. I love it because you can mix and match characters with other images to create any occasion cards. I used a girl stamp as is and for boys I stamped a big present box and balloons.
I cut out a card panel using a A2 rectangle die from Designer Template 2 Die and I applied black ink through Random Tiny Dot Stencil. On top of the card panel I placed a piece of vellum to make the dots not so bright and bold.
As you may know, we also have puffy shakers in different shapes and in this release we bring new dies that work with them and with our nesting dies. Our design team showed how they used them without shakers, so don't miss to hop along and find more inspiration.
Here I have a card using Tangled Heart Die. I decided to use flowers around the heart frame to create a floral background.
And on my last card I used Tangled Star Die to create a spring card with yellow flowers. To create a card background I used yellow and orange inks, which I applied through the Daisy Background Stencil.
There were a lot of cards :) I hope you like them and find them inspiring

ReplyDeleteHi, Galina - Your sense of humor has shown through clearly with the "never give up" and the way those little envelopes are balanced on the snail's shell - that made me smile. I am astounded at the sheet volume of examples you have provided for us - THANK YOU so much! Your work is beautiful. I love how the tiny envelopes are the focal point of at least two cards and are supplemental on 1-2 others. You are SO, SO, SO talented!!
