Hello everyone and welcome to our blog-hop! We start at Altenew Card Blog,
there you can find more info about new release.
This time Altenew present brand new materials for crafters - beautiful decals! In different sizes from small, which you can use even on cards, to huge ones to decorate your craft space! Because we, crafters, know how important is to keep our happy place pretty and inspiring :)
All new decals are avaible here - Altenew Shop
My first project is a card with transparent background. For this card I used one large decal flower from Amour Decal set.
Next, I attached a stensil - Elegant Swirls. and applied texture paste from Altenew all over the panel, even on flowers. Because decals have nice smooth non porous texture I easily swiped paste excess with baby wipe.
To attach acetate panel on card base I cut out a rectangle window on the front flap of the card base and then glued acetate panel on it using strong double sided adhesive tape. And on front side I cut out a frame from silver glitter cardstock.
Also I decided to make one more inner colorful panel, to hide sentiments inside of the card. I cut out a piece of white card stock 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and applied few ink colors on it.
And, ofcourse, I want to decorate my crafty corner with beautiful flowers. Those flowers are one of my favorite floral designs from Altenew and I'm happy to have them everywhere now :)
I cut out one of floral bouquets, remove protected sheet and stick flowers on my ikea bookshelf. On the the top of the bookshelf I added a Gold String Washi Tap.
It was really easy to attach flowers, with those big decals you will get a plastic tool to help stick decals without air bubbles inside.
