Inverse colors card background using Distress Oxide inks

 Hello everyone!

I have a fun project to share with you. I was playing with Distress Oxide inks, but any type of ink will work with this technique. For my card I used the You’re so Sweet Stamp set, Loops Panel Die, Best Ever Die set and stamp.

How I made this card you can watch here or on my Youtube channel.

BEST EVER DIES – Studio Katia

On a white A2 card panel I applied distress oxide inks: Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistachio, Scattered Straw, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick.I cut out a panel with a circle called Loops Panel die and I inlaid circles in opposite directions.

I cut out a silver frame using a frame die from a Loop set.I Stamped 3 flowers from You’re so Sweet Stamp set and I colored them with Copic markers.

I cut out sentiment using die from Best ever Set from white and black mirror cardstock. I heat embossed a second part of the sentiment on a black cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

  1. Love your fabulous card base with the inverted colours Galena, and the gorgeous flowers look wonderful against it.
