Hello everyone!
Today I want to share a fun technique with solid stamps. It is super fun and quick technique and any big solid stamp will work. I played with Labelmaker Rainbows Stamp Set from Waffle Flower and also I used a coordinating die - Labelmaker Rainbows Matching Die, it cuts multiple sentiments all in one pass.
For sure you can use this sentiment stamp for creating sentiments :) and they don't have to be just black, but black is a classic, so I stamped and used a lot of black stripe sentiments. With multicolored sentiments stripes I created some fun card backgrounds.
How I made multicolored stamping you can watch here or on my Youtube channel.
Cards details
For my first card I used a soft color palette to create a delicate card. I stamped all the senntiments at ones with Spun Sugar, Cracked Pisttachio, Scattered Straw, Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks.
Using a rectangle nesting die I cut out a window in a white A2 card panel. I foam mounted the frame on a white card base and adhered the multicolored stripes inside of the window opening. I cut out a vellum piece using Diamond nesting die and attached it in the centre
I stamped and colored a little Unicorn and placed it over the vellum piece. On the bottom I added a black stamped sentiment. I embellished the card with clear enamel dots.
On the second card I used bright pink, blue and violet colors of Distress Oxide inks - Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon. I adhered colorful stripes on a white thin paper in the same way as on my first card, but this time I cut them out with a large nesting Diamond die and I foam mounted it on a white A2 card basse.
I placed the same vellum die cut and another cute Unicorn. I stamped a handwritten sentiment with a multicolored ink pad from Tsukineko - Kaleidacolor Berry Blaze. I embellished the card with colorful enamel dots.
I made the third card with a black cardstock and it makes colors pop up. On this card I combined with a Labelmaker Rainbows Stamp Set such Distress Oxide inks: Shaded lilac, Twisted citron, Worn Lipstick and Mustard Seed.
I cut out the sentiments with a matching die and adhered them on a paper without white gaps. I cut out a big circle using a large Nesting Circle die from the paper with sentiments and attached it on a black card base.
Using an Oversized Rainbow Word Die I cut out a big sentiment from a gold mirror cardstock and a vellum. I foam mount it in the centre of the card and I added a black stripe sentiment to finish the phrase.
