Waffle Flower May Release Blog hop

Hello everyone and welcome to our blog hop!

I have exciting news to share with you. May release is special to me, because this time you will find a lot of products designed by me! It is called Social butterflies, and all the butterflies are my babies :) Below I will share with you a lot of card examples.

First, I'm going to start with a clean and simple card I made only with one stencil and a sentiment.  I applied different colors of distress inks through the Butterflies Background stencil, between the colorful butterflies I added a lot of small enamel dots. I stamped a sentiment from Thank you stamp set and cut it out with coordinating die.

For my second card I used the same rainbow color combo, but this time I applied ink on a white A2 card base and covered it with a beautiful panel die cut. I cut it out using Outlined Butterflies Panel Die  from an ivory color cardstock.
I kept 3 little negative butterfly die cuts and colored them with inks. I cut out a diamond panel from the same cardstock and used a medium dies from Nesting Diamond die set. Also, I cut out a sentiment from a vellum and black cardstock, I heat emboss the second part of the sentiment on a black paper stripe.

Next, I have slimline cards, full and mini versions. I cut out a panel using Slimline Trio die and applied distress ink on the inner squares. I stamped 3 big butterflies from Spread your wings stamp set and colored them with Copic markers.

This small card I made using the new mini slimline dies. With a bigger die I cut out a dark blue card panel. I heat embossed with gold powder one big and two small butterflies from Spread your wings Stamp set and I colored them using distress inks and coordinating stencil.

If you like simple and elegant cards you definitely will like Flying Butterflies die, it cuts thin outline silhouettes and you can use as is, as well as inner die cuts butterflies on a separate project. I cut out a frame from a white glitter cardstock and two times from a white cardstock, I adhered them together to get a demenishal die cut.
I find in my stash a beautiful blue background I made with alcohol inks and I cut out inner butterflies from it and put them inside of my frame. I stamped a sentiment using and cut it out with coordinating die.

I used that die to create a card background for my next card. I stamped and Copic colored a wonderful bouquet from Wrapped Bouquet Stamp Set and foam mounted it in the centre.

For my last card I used Circle Butterfly Shaker Die. Our design time made a lot of shaker examples using this die, don't forget to visit theirs blogs to get inspired. And I made a regular card without a shaker element. I simply cut out a frame from a white cardstock and bottom layer from a vellum.
Using two circle nesting dies I cut out a gold glitter frame to embellish my die cut. In the centre I heat embossed a sentiment directly on a vellum. I foam-mounted the die cut on a pattern paper and added clear enamel dots inside of each butterfly.
