How to color with stencil

 Hello everyone!

Today I want to show you how coloring can be more fun! Or it can be super quick if you are in rush.

I made this card using Spread your wings Stamp set and I used coordinating stencil to color it. I designed this set to create quick and delicate cards, that stencil can be used separately for creating focal points or patterns on the card panel. I will show you closer that process on the next week.

How I made this card you can watch here or on my Youtube chanel.

 Card Details

I cut out a rectangle panel using a third die from the A2 layering Die set. I stamped a butterfly from Spread your wings Stamp set using black Memento ink as well as little sentiment and dotted swirl. I covered my butterfly with coordinating stencil.

Next, I applied light pink ink on the bottom and yellow ink on the top of the image. I blend colors with blender brushes. You can apply blue ink on the top corners of butterflies and create a nice multicolored ombre, but I decided to add small details with my Copic markers.

I cut out the butterfly using a coordinating die and I placed a piece of yellow cardstock behind the panel. I foam mount the butterfly back but a little bit lower, so the yellow cardstock can be shown, it creates a shadow from the butterfly's wings.

To decorate my card I used few enamel dots from Botanical and Enchanted sets.
