Waffle Flower January release blog hop + Video

Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you a few fun ideas for creating special cards for your Valentine and some tips of using cover plate\background dies.

At first, I want to share with you a quick and easy encouragement card. I made this card using Hearts Panel Die and Sweet Scallops Panel Die dies, few distress inks and a glimmer paste.

 How I made this card you can watch in this video or on my Youtube chanel.

How cool is this pattern? I think those hearts looks like sugar candies :) In this technique you can combine any colors and inks you have in your stash. For my next project I will use a rainbow color combo, I'm sure heart pattern will looks awesome :) 

For my second card I used cute bunnies from Love You Bunnies Stamp set. 

I stamped them with a light grey ink and I colored with a pencils.

 Using Sweet Scallops Panel Die  I cut out a card background from a pink cardstock. On a piece of a red cardstock I heat embossed a sentiment with a white embossing powder and attached it on the bottom of the card panel.

 Next I wanto to show a two cards using one same die. Here I used Oversized Love die and few small stamps for the sentiments.

On this card I simply use a large "Love you" die, I cut out a phrase from a white glitter cardstock. I foam mount it on a pink card background and add a smaller sentiment.

On a second card I used a same color colombo. I decided to add a shine on the bigger die cut, I apply a transparent glitter embossing powder on the bottom of each word and heat embossed it.

To decorate the card backgrounnd I attach gold glitter tape in the centre.
